Health Advice in SanFu period

We enter the 30 days length of #sanfu since 20/7, it is the critical period to cultivate health and kick off the prevention efforts for common chronical health problems that normally bother you in the winter.

  • Drink more water,
  • Take good care of stomach,
  • Sustain and maintain sober and healthy lifestyle
  • Remain calm, peace and relax
  • Take care of organs, particular the kidneys, in food and drink.
  • A bowl of green beans soup can be a good choice; discipline desires, ,avoid to consume too much very icy and contains artificial sweetening beverages.

Whether we want to accept or not, let’s face it we are facing the threat of global climate change, the excessive UV can harmful to our health. A head, UV-block umbrella or a pair of sun glasses are useful when we enjoy the sun light.

As to tea drinks, here is our suggestion:

  1. Black Tea
  2. Old Tea – choice from black tea, sheng puérh, traditional oolong, or white tea
  3. Dark tea – choice from dark tea or shou puérh
  4. Herbal infusion to those who are very sensitive to the caffeine

It does not matter which choice of tea is being chosen, never forget the basic healthy principles:

  1. Using the servicing cup or pot to separate tea leaves with tea that to avoid too strong brewing
  2. Rather mild brewing than too strong brewing
  3. Appropriate consumption & volume – Min. 2-3 cup/day to max. 6-8 cups (+/- 1.0 to 1.2L) a day, in between suggest to drink more water in room temperature
  4. Natural honey is better than white sugar, just be aware that natural honey is sensitive to high water temperature; it is better to add natural honey to low warm water at the temperature around 40°C in order to enjoy its beneficial enzymes, vitamins and minerals by preserving its nutritional values with better flavor and texture.

In case feeling very dried warm, can try to prepare homemade ice tea that give you a refreshing experience with mild bitterness, astrigency, sour and natural sweetness in taste.
